OUR GOAL

Help client to do localization work and publish localized iOS/Android app version in China top 10 app stores.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES

We analyzed the original app, and found out the gaps of the user behaviors and demands between China market and the rest. Listed out the solutions and feature updates suggestions to the client. After development, we published the localized app version in China Top 10 Android and iOS app stores.

OUR APPROACH

China is a special mobile app market since it has its stand-online mobile app stores and social network ecosystem. Google store is not allowed in China, and there are more than 20 individual app stores that with high volumes of active app users. Since situation in Social network, Twitter and Facebook is blocked, while Weibo and Wechat are dominated the market.

We utilized our Chinese based local resource and provided an end-to-end localization solution for the client:

  • Redesigned and implemented social network connection related function
  • Modified login process based on Chinese users’ behavior and integrated local social network single-sign-on
  • Applied local certificates and conducted API replacement for Social network integration
  • Other localization solutions
